AW: What it Dew Fam?
O: Grindin fam, 24-7, 365
AW: Give us some history on Outrageouz and how you jumped in the game?
O: I orginally got in the game when I was 10 and I did a couple of
blockpartys and fundraisers. Something like a hype man back in 93 or
94. I started writing my own raps at 13. At age16 I recorded a couple
of mixtapes and passed them around High school and I got a big response
from it. At Age 18 I decided to start my own label Platinum Boy
Entertainment to avoid scam artists and crooked record labels
So Really been in it for a minute but moving real low key homie
AW: Most people know Texas for it's syrupy screw sound. What can we
expect from Outrageouz?
O: From me I can delivery that and much more my fam in hiram clarke told me
I had alot of punch lines in my flows so I try to use that as an
advantage and also stick with my roots down here in Texas
AW: What would you say separates you from the next group or artist out
right now?
O: Whut seperates me homie is... mostly my style and versatility because I
can get real deep and real in 1 song and can get real raw in the next
AW: Speak on your current project?
O: While fam I just finished my New hit single I'm Flossin' with Jokaman
and $park Dawg, Also Produced by Jay Classik. So now you can call your
local radio station request lines and request the hell out of
that....and right now I'm workin on my mix/album numtombout it's called
"The Ghetto Legacy" The Mix/Album will have a gang of features with a
number upcoming underground producers.My 2nd single will be produced by
Beat King so you know its gonna be a club banger fam Also I'm coming out
with a various number of mixtapes from djs across the world so just be
post on www.platinumboyent.com on a daily basis for those releases ya
feel me!!!
AW: As an artist how are you approaching the music game from a business
level?
O: I'm more of my own boss so I have to step up as
a manager before I do as an artist ya feel me!!
AW: Are you in a rush to sign a major deal?
O: Naw not really I mean don't get me wrong when the times comes and the
moneys right then its a done deal knom sayin
AW: What are your thoughts on the southern movement and how it's
affected the whole industry's approach when it comes to music?
O: The South is taking over because we starting to stick together as a
whole. Some of us have our differences but most of us still say if its
paper its in my pocket know what I'm sayin!!!!
AW: Awready! So what's next for you in 2006?
O: I'm looking forward of just grinding harder then I'm grindin right now
to just stack up lok out for more shows from me in Texas and more
songs.
